1.2 The COHSR: Operator Obligations

Sloped Terrain: On a slope of Δ = 15° or more, the machine must work facing the slope for excavation, and perpendicular to the slope only if the stabilizers are properly chocked. Travel speed on slopes must not exceed 8 km/h.
2.2 Working Near Overhead Power Lines
The Canadian Electrical Code, Part I (CE Code) sets minimum clearance distances. These distances are absolute—no insulation protects the operator.
